After a successful launch that helped Polar Beer become the #4 imported brand in South Florida within 8 months of introduction, my creative advertising agency was tasked with keeping the brand top of mind with beer drinkers so the distributor would support the brand. As one of the leading radio advertising agencies in the market, we believed strongly in radio’s ability to build brand consideration. The strategy? Get domestic beer drinkers to try imported Polar Beer by using peer pressure to challenge old habits. And guess who I hired as one of the voice actors?
